This course is designed for a range of teachers of child development.  Whether you are new to the subject or have taught for a number of years.  The course is generic to all exam boards.  You will have the tools to increase pupils understanding and enthusiasm and improve teaching and learning. Course delivery: The course is delivered by Jane Barlow.  I have 14 year’s experience of teaching Child Development.  I have a detailed knowledge of the specifications for AQA, WJEC and OCR.  I have solely run child development and health and social care.  I have been a head of upper school and head of year and I have taught in some challenging schools where clearly planned lessons and stimulating materials are vital.  My aim is to equip you with a number of strategies to run your course. Details The course will start at 9.30am and finish at 3.00pm prompt, lunch and refreshments are included.  You will receive a folder full of ideas and lessons that you can go away with and teach straight away.  All course material, including ppt lessons, will be emailed to you after the course.
